How to get to CB…

• Gunnison, Colorado (GUC)

  Gunnison to Crested Butte is approximately a 45-minute drive. There is a shuttle service available from Gunnison to Crested Butte, or multiple rental car options at the airport.

• Grand Junction, Colorado (GJT)

  Grand Junction to Crested Butte is approximately a 3-hour drive.

• Denver, Colorado (DEN)

  Denver to Crested Butte is approximately a 4.5-hour drive.

• Colorado Springs, Colorado (COS)

  Colorado Springs to Crested Butte is approximately a 4-hour drive.

How to get around CB…

Getting to and from the Airport

To get to downtown Crested Butte from any of the airports you will need to rent a car or set up a transfer with one of the following companies. They each offer group shuttles and private cars.

There are no ride sharing services or taxis anywhere in the valley, so please schedule ahead of your arrival!

Getting Around Town

The local Mountain Express shuttle provides transportation throughout the town of Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. Busses run every 15 minutes from 7:10am until midnight. If you are not staying in town or near bus stop on the mountain, we highly suggest renting a car to get around!

• Dolly’s Mountain Shuttle provides dinner shuttles and late night shuttles once the town bus stops. Call 970-209-9757 to book.

• If you would like to go on a day excursion and didn’t rent a car, Jeep and ATVs are available to rent for the day in town through Alpenglow rentals. Book on their website or call 1-844-YOU-RENT.
